Palestine Peace Not Apartheid
Palestine Peace Not Apartheid Book Review
The book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid by Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States, has made the New York Times Best Seller List. The book was published by Simon & Schuster in November 2006. The author’s personal experiences in the Middle East helped him formulate his viewpoint on the conflict. The book first released in English, but quickly translated into Hebrew. Here is a short review of the book.
The book is the result of a decade of dialogue between Carter and Palestinians in the PLO office in Jerusalem. The Palestinians are eager to discuss the negative impact of Israeli policies on them and denounce the U.S. support of Israel. When asked why the American government supported Israel, Carter pointed out that Israeli courts failed to provide justice for Palestinians. Furthermore, the government of Israel did not allow Palestinian lawyers to practice law in its courts.
The book also discusses the long history of the conflict in the Middle East
While Carter is not an expert in the Middle East, his experience in the U.S. government has given him a unique perspective on the situation. He has visited both sides of the conflict in the past and has a unique position to offer a more balanced view on the conflict. This is an important book to read and share with everyone who wants to know more about the current conflict.
It’s a good read. While I don’t agree with everything that Carter says in his book, the message is clear: we need to address the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories. In other words, we need a Palestinian-Israeli relationship. This is not just a moral issue involving the conflict in the Middle East. But we can use this book as a platform to help create a better future.
The book has been well-received
Its title suggests that the book is an important read for the current Middle East conflict. While the book is a valuable guide for readers, I don’t recommend it for the average reader. While it’s an important read, it’s not an easy read. It’s important to read the book before you decide on a side. The first paragraph is particularly important because the Palestinians are divided between two countries. This is a huge contradiction.
The book is a must-read for those who want peace and an end to the conflict in the Middle East. In this book, Carter calls for a lasting peace in the Palestinian territories – a peace that recognized by all countries and respected by all parties. In other words, the book’s author is an advocate of Palestine and the Palestinians’ right to freedom. This is the most basic and most important chapter of the book.
Among the many critics of the book
I would suggest that it a necessary read. It contains useful information on the Palestinians’ rights. In addition, it has a lot of information and is well-written. Besides, a book on Palestine should be informative and interesting to read. The author has written many books on the conflict and has an extensive knowledge of international relations. The author has an extensive background in international affairs, and he has a wide range of knowledge.
It’s essential for a Palestinian state to be self-governing and be independent. The Palestinian people will not allowed to forced out of their country. They will surrounded by checkpoints, fences, and walls. They will effectively locked into an enclave if they unable to leave their occupied land. This is unacceptable. You should have the right to your own state and not ruled by someone else.
The book aims to educate the general public about the Palestinian situation in the Middle East. It outlines the various issues regarding Palestinians, and the conflict between the two nations. The author also offers a timeline for the reader to understand the importance of each issue. Moreover, the book explains the conditions that should met in order for lasting peace. As a result, it a book that will help anyone who interested in the conflict.
