Arabic Edexcel AS Level Code WAA01 Mark Scheme

The Arabic Edexcel AS level (Arabic Edexcel AS Level Code WAA01 Mark Scheme) is designed to help students develop their language and cultural competence and improve their future employment prospects. The course also covers contemporary Arabic society and culture, and the ability to transfer meaning from English to Arabic.

A level

A level is the highest qualification in the course. The exam will assess the ability of students to understand and communicate in Arabic. It requires a good command of grammar and vocabulary. The language can be learned by speaking, reading, and writing. The course has a single-tier for grades A*-E.

The examination tests reading and writing skills in separate exercises. The syllabus includes authentic reading texts. The exams held every two years.

The require exam

The exam will require the students to be able to read and write in Arabic. The course is based on the GCSE syllabus.
